Frequently Asked Questions

How does this work?

Great question! The process is extremely simple. First, start here to begin the repair process. After you place your order, you will receive instructions by email on how to proceed. You will remove your EBCM (ABS Module) from your Corvette and send it to us. As soon as we get it, we will test it, repair and upgrade it, and then ship it back to you. There's no programming needed on your end. You simply install it back on your Corvette the same way you removed it. It's that simple!

How Long Does It Take?

Once we receive your module, we turn it around within 3-4 business days with standard service. If you select expedited service, we turn it around within 1 business day and ship it back to you overnight!

What is the warranty?

We guarantee our work with a lifetime warranty! You'll never have to pay for the same service twice. Having said that, our rebuilt modules have such a low failure rate that you will likely never have to use the warranty. It's there for your peace of mind.

What problems does your service fix?

Most people will know their ABS module has failed because they see some combination of warning lights on their instrument cluster: usually service ABS, service active handling, and service traction control. Sometimes, this happens intermittently, but eventually it will happen every time you turn on the car. With these service lights, your Corvette no longer is able to use these crucial braking functions. Rebuilding the ABS module will usually fix this problem, and restore these braking functions to your Corvette.

Can all faulty ABS modules be repaired?

No. Approximately 10% of failed modules are irreparable. The first thing we do when we get your EBCM is test it and determine if it's faulty, and if so, if it is repairable. If it's not repairable, we will send it back to you and you'll have the option to get your purchase price credited toward the cost of a newly rebuilt replacement EBCM, which we have in stock.

Do I need to program my module when I get it back?

No! There's absolutely no programming required or recommended with our rebuilt units. The re-installation process is simple and easy, with no special tools or equipment required.

How do I know if my module is compatible with your service?

We work on ALL ABS modules from any 2001-2004 Corvette, including all trim levels. If your Corvette doesn't fall within those years, we unfortunately cannot rebuild your module.

There is nothing wrong with my module. Can I still send it to you for the upgrade service?

Absolutely! Sending your module to us is a great, proactive idea to stay ahead of a problem that will eventually affect your vehicle. These modules were built defective from the factory, so it's a matter of when, not if, they will fail. Our upgrade service prevents any future failure, so you're not dealing with it during an inconvenient and unexpected time. We will upgrade your module and you'll receive a lifetime warranty on it. Start your repair here now!

What if you can't repair my faulty module?

If your module is irreparable, you will have the option to get a full credit toward a replacement rebuilt EBCM, or receive a partial refund.
